Kamakoti, director, IIT Madras, said on Tuesday that there were major changes in the field of science, education and technology in the country in the past 11 years under the government of Premier Narendra Modi. Kamakoti has spoken to the Ians news agency for the past 11 years. The government has also promoted AI and other emerging technology in the development of human capacity and development of the country. He said: “Many national missions in the areas of important and emerging technology played a very important role in this 11 years. National mission, national quantum mission and national semiconductor missions about cyber physical systems are three important missions, which played a very important role in developing specialty in important and emerging technologies.” Kamakoti said that these missions were not only focused on research, but also focused on the development of ‘good entrepreneurship and innovation skills in the youth of our country’.
