America invented a GPS and dared to

One of the most technological achievements that America is proud of, because it has changed the way the army is fighting, the way businesses work and the way citizens live their lives. But it is now a dangerous weakness. This system, which was only opened for full civilian use in 2000, has since become an integral part of modern life. More than 4 billion users around the world depend on signals from their industrial lubors to detect, navigation and timing. The system directs missiles to its targets and planes to its destinations. The banks depend on the accurate timing of processing transactions. It is a very important system for power, cellphone, emergency services and countless applications. It can cost a long time for more than a billion dollars a day. With the rise of drones and new technologies such as self -managed cars, the global positioning system will become more important. At the same time, the risk of errors is increasing. China and Russia tightened their capabilities to disrupt American satellites with missiles, lasers, cyber attacks and even other satellites. The confusion and personification of the regime, Russia in Ukraine, proved the ease of confusion over the signals of the global GPS, which led to the removal of drones and ammunition of the target significantly. Worse still, many countries now personify the global GPS system regularly to send wrong signals, and to push ships and aircraft to believe that they are completely in another place. Such incidents affected the Civil Aviation and Freight Movement from the East Chinese Sea to the Eastern Mediterranean. Although the United States competitors depend on their satellite navigation systems, they are particularly dangerous due to lack of alternatives. A consultative board that oversees the global positioning system warned last year that the system is now ‘much weaker’ than the largest Chinese ‘beidou’ network, which has better coverage and accuracy than the global positioning system in many parts of the world. Most importantly, both Russia and China have soil backups. Politics in the United States are not aware of this danger, as the Pentagon has launched satellite satellites that can broadcast an encrypted military signal and can broadcast a confusion for almost 20 years, known as “M-Code”. However, the delays still rage in the program. The development of the land stations needed to operate the new system has been delayed more than seven years as the specified timetable, while the cost was inflated by 73%, exceeding the estimates. About 700 weapons systems will require more than a million new receptions, and are still developed before you can process ‘M code’ signals. Meanwhile, the United States has already abandoned its nature network of its wireless beacons, which could have worked as a backup copy of the GPS in 2009. The problem needed to lead to the reform of this problem will need leadership. The congress should consider supporting the global GPS authority to a central office, instead of various agencies that are now sharing responsibility. It must also guarantee the spacecraft ‘space -free’ to obtain the budget needed to develop satellite defense and ‘anti -space’ functions, and to claim a greater liability for the signal disaster. At the same time, the United States must work with its allies in Europe and Asia who use their positioning systems, both in space or on earth, to improve their general abilities to resist disruption. As for the backup copy of the GPS, the purification of the civil signal known as “L5” for use on a broader scale and the review of export monitoring controls to review the sale of customizable antennas, providing companies for Forestin tools to help combat confusion and plagiarism. It must also be recreated a soil network of navigation constellations in study and thinking. Finally, the United States should benefit from its leadership in the private sector. Companies are already investigating alternative ways to provide information, navigation and timing using new satellite groups in a low earth -winning lane, detailed site cards, quantitative sensors and more exciting and strange technologies. Organizational bodies can stimulate important infrastructure operators, or require them to provide such reserve copies, which would stimulate demand more effectively than the few grants made by the Pentagon so far. Government administrations can give an example that must be followed by buying this alternative self. No single technology can provide perfect protection. The best the United States can consider is a multi -layer defense that deter its enemies. It’s time to start building it now.
