Hamptons Film Festival Unveil Full Slate, First Casting Award Sets

The Hamptons Film Festival is Introducing A Casting Award and Will Give It Next Mont to Bernard Telsey, Whose Credits Include Kiss of the Spider Woman and Wicked: for good.
The 33rd Annual Edition of the Festival Runs October 3 to 13 on the East of Long Island, NY.
Along with the Casting Honor, organizers revealed the full lineup for the festival. In all, 85 features and 57 Shorts Will Screen, with 12 World Premieres, 8 North American Premieres, 21 US Premieres, 20 East Coast Premieres, and 27 New York Premiere.
The Narrative Competition Will Include the US Premiere of Mehmet Akif Büyükatalay Hysteria; The New York Premiere of Cole Webley’s Omaha; The New York Premiere of Simón Mesa Soto’s Do poet; Hasan Hadi’s The President’s Cake; and Mascha Schilinski’s Sound of Falling.
The Documentary Competition SECTION WILL INCLUDE The New York Premiere of Anthony Benna André is an idiot; The International Premiere of Josefine Exner and Sebastian Gerdes’ The nicest me on earth; Paige Bethmann’s Remaining Native; and the New York Premiere of David Bim’s To the West, in Zapata.
The East Coast Premiere of Kristen Stewart’s The Chronology of Water Is Also Part of the Festival Slate.
Telsey, an Influential Casting Director in Theater, Film, and Television, is Being Honored with the Festival of inaugural Achievement in Casting Award in Recognition of His Groundbreaking Contributions to the Industry. Festival Officials Hope the Honor Becomes an Annual Tradition. Along with Kiss of the Spider Woman (Which Will Screen in the Hamptons) Telsey Has Cast Film Credits Including Across the Universe, Mary Poppins Returns and Rachel Getting Married.
