Haryana DGP reviewed the law and order before the festive season
Chandigarh, September 21 (IANS). Prior to the start of the festive season, Shatrujit Kapoor, director general of the Police (DGP) of Haryana, reviewed the law and ordinary situation on Sunday. During this time, he discussed action against foreign citizens, money lenders, criminals, offenses and traffic management who live illegally in the state. DGP Kapoor has instructed all officials to review matters related to foreign citizens who live illegally and ensure strict action. He ordered that a separate cell be drawn up for this purpose in each district, and that the information should be taken. He instructed officials to send the weekly report on the case to the police headquarters. In the meeting, DGP Kapoor checked the continued intensive campaign against money lenders. Sonipat Police Commissioner Mamta Singh said the police are getting full support from the public and that complaints are being taken quickly. The DGP has made it clear that the main purpose of this campaign is to help the needy and poor people. He said strict steps will be taken against the money lenders who benefit from the coercion of the poor and also confiscate their property of them. He ordered that criminals and anti -social elements be strictly monitored. He instructed the officials of the Station House (SHO) to watch such persons, listen to complaints against them and act strictly. The DGP emphasized that criminals should be classified into individual groups, so that monitoring and actions can be taken more effectively. Additional Director General of Police (Traffic and Highway) Hardep Doon said that a total of 30,603 challengers were cut during the special campaign held from September 5 to 14. This includes action against management, noise pollution and other traffic offenses. Awareness campaigns were also held during this period. The DGP ordered that the possible areas be identified and that the necessary traffic safety measures should be taken there. DGP Kapoor also instructed to make the public aware of compliance with the management of track. He said police officers and staff members of traffic should convince the public that vehicles should not run in fast lanes constantly, because fast lanes are only for catching up. DGP Kapoor instructed the officials to further strengthen the security system. He said that CCTV cameras should be installed of high quality to prevent accidents and criminal incidents in major scholarship and temples where large crowds gather. If the crowd exceeds the prescribed limit, the entry at the main gate itself must be controlled. Special monitoring should also be done on suspect and anti -social elements. -Inans Akks/as
