BJP MLC Sanjay Kenkar said the government is preparing itself to change the name of Khuldabad and Daulatabad

Mumbai, April 8 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Councilor (MLC) Sanjay Kenkar said the state government will make a proposal to change the names of Khaldabad and Daulatabad. He said that Khuldabad of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar should be known as ‘Ratnapur’, and that a large monument of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj will also be built on this historic place. Sanjay Kenkar said: “The mughals have tried to eradicate the history of our ancestors. Now is the time to nurture our history and tell the generations how to protect religion and culture. The purpose of the monument is to tell children the story of bravery and sacrifice.” MLC Sanjay Kenkar said a spade at Uddhav Thackeray: ‘Uddhav Thackeray himself doesn’t know what to do. We took this bill from both houses and made milk, water, ‘over the WAQF Amendment Bill. Sanjay Kenkar also appreciated the Mudra Yojana launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The scheme gave small business people the opportunity to become self-sufficient.” In addition, Mahulashtra Minister Sanjay Shirsat announced that the government will change the name of Khuldabad. He informed that Khuldabad would soon be called ‘Ratnapur’. This decision was made after a dispute over the grave of the Mughal -Equeer Aurangzeb. It is noteworthy that the grave of Aurangzeb is located in the Khuldabad region. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar protection, Shirsat, made it clear that the government did not change the name, but restored the old historical name. He said that the region was previously known as Ratnapur and that the same name was recorded in government documents.
