(Instagram: G Madhu Kiren) Kia is reportedly ready to launch the facelifted 2025 Carens in India, and it can bring some exciting updates. A leaked image of the alleged Kia Carens under Wraps appears on social media. Now, with mid-life update, Kia is probably aimed at giving the Carens a stylish update and some impressive new features while keeping its reliable power options intact. What is new to the outside? According to an HT Auto report, the updated Carens can get a fresh new face, with redesigned headlights, updated LED daylight (DRLs), and an adaptive front bumper -all seen in the recent test muit images. While the overall form of the MPV remains the same, Kia is expected to make some subtle refinements to make it look sharp. Expect new Alloy Wheel designs and a fresh set of LED rear lights at the back to complete the facial lift. Inside the cabin, Kia is expected to launch a redesigned middle console and refreshed air conditioning openings, along with a new seat upholstery in a different color scheme. But the biggest highlight? A panoramic sunroof and two massive 12.3-inch digital screens-expected to be borrowed from the new Kia Syros-can make their way in care so that the cabin can feel more high-tech and premium than ever. The Carens is expected to have six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and front and rear parking sensors. And if that’s not enough, the top finishes can also get advanced driver’s aid systems (ADAs) and a 360-degree camera for extra comfort and safety. No changes are expected under the bonnet when it comes to power; The 2025 Carens is likely to stick to the existing engine setup. This means that buyers have three more options: a 1.5-liter diesel engine, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol unit and a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a natural aspiration. Transmissions are also expected to remain the same, with a seven-speed double clutch transmission (DCT) or a six-speed IMT for the turbo petrol, a six-speed manual for the natural aspiration petrol, and both hand and automatic diesel options. With these updates, the 2025 Kia Carens looks like a solid upgrade about its predecessor. The official launch is expected later this month, so stay abreast of more details, including prices and availability. Catch all the car news and updates on live currency.
