No change in demand from India in 2 months, the question from the question: Salesforce

Mumbai, April 15’s (PTI) customer relationship management firm Salesforce has not seen any change in customers’ behavior over the past two months, despite the larger concerns about rates, a top official said Tuesday. The country is in a ‘protracted period’ of a high appetite for technology, executive vice president Arun Kumar Parameswaran told reporters here. “From a demand perspective in India, we have not seen any weakening of the question yet. I’ve never seen such a protracted period (of great demand). The question of what we are doing in the market exceeds the offer,” he said. He responded to a specific question about demand over the past two months, which raised concerns about the tariff wars, he said there was no change. “So far there is no change. My view is that everyone is in a guard-and-see mode. No one is changing,” Parameswaran said. Furthermore, he said in times of uncertainty, customers will become wise about the returns they receive from spending, but will not be spent. Arundhati Bhattacharya, chairman of the company and CEO, said no company cut innovation spending and added that a business is sustainable, the most important priority is in such times by which they rely on technology. The company saw a 40 percent growth in its top line at £ 9,116 in FY24. Right now, it has 13,000 people working over six offices in India. Parameswaran said that only the sectors that are deeply influenced by potential changes in rates are those that can be a little more caution on spending. Satya Ramaswamy, head of digital and technology officer at Air India, said the Tata defendant does not want to reduce technology expenses and it wants to be possible to increase the same. Salesforce announced on Tuesday that Air India has adopted its ‘Agentforce’ solution to automate customer service processes. The company also said that a survey involving 100 software developments reports reported that 92 percent of respondents believe that AI agents will be just as essential for app development as traditional software instruments.
