2 Dead, 1 Wounded in Near West Side Shooting – ryan

Two People are Dead and One is injured after they were shot on the near west side Early Saturday, Police Said.

The Victims were standing on a sidewalk in the 2300 Block of the West Roosevelt Road ARUND 2:30 am we a Black SUV APPROAMED AND THREE MEN GOT OUT OF THE CARRED SHOTS, Acciting to Chicago Police. The suspects got back in the vehicle and fled the scene.

Dennishiana Mattox, 23, was shot in the chest and abdomen, Police and the Cook County Medical Examine Said. She was pronounced Dead at Stroger Hospital. Malik R. Johnson, 24, sufferered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was also pronouned dead at Stroger Hospital, Police Said.

Another Man, 25, was shot in the ankle and was line in good condition at Rush Hospital.

No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
