John Wall, former Washington Wizards star guard, hangs boots after 11 NBA seasons
Former Washington Wizards Sterwag John Wall announced his retirement after 11 NBA seasons on Tuesday, reports CBS Sports, adding that he last played for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2022-23 season. Congratulations on your retirement, @Johnwall. ‘ About John Wall: Wall was selected by the Washington Wizards for the first time in 2010 and spent the first nine seasons of his NBA career with them. He was then traded in an agreement with the Houston Rockets in 2020 in which Russell Westbrook was sent to the wizards. He ended his career with an average of 18.7 points, 8.9 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 stealing. In his rookie campaign, Wall was on average 16.4 points, 8.3 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 stealing. He added second place in the award of the Rookie of the Year Award behind the then cliff, Blake Griffin, added the report. Wall helped Wizards finish to the playoffs in four of his nine seasons and also assisted the franchise to reach the Eastern Conference semi -finals in two of these campaigns.
