Police arrested the accused leader and his partner and showed readiness in the case. The arrested accused has been identified as 25 -year -old Akash Anand Bhalerao, who is alleged to be the branch head of Shiv Sena Shinde faction. With him, a young man named 26 -year Suraj Dutta Hazare was also involved in the incident. The victim, while filing a police charge, said that the leader of the Shiv Sena, Akash Bhalerao and his partner Suraj Hazare tried to attack him with a sword.
