Driver dies in a collision with horrific road accidents, truck and tanker in Murshidabad

Murshidabad, May 31 (IANS). An affect road accident late Friday night on National Highway No. 12 in Umarpur in the Murshidabad district in Western Bengals, in which the driver of the gas tanker died on the spot. In this accident, a truck hit the tanker strongly, whereby the tanker lost his life. After the accident, traffic on the national highway came to a standstill for some time, causing long sides on both sides. According to the information, Barhampur’s guest tanker went to Farakka. At night, a high -speed truck on the National Highway No. 12 Near Umarpur hit the tanker from behind. The collision was so strong that the tanker did not even get the chance to recover and that he died on the spot. In the preliminary investigation, police said that the negligence and high velocity of the truck driver could be the biggest cause of this accident. However, the investigation into the exact causes of the accident is still being investigated. Once the incident was reported, the Raghunathganj police station and the National Highway Authority immediately reached the place. Police took the body of the dead driver and sent it to Mortuary of Jangipur Subdivision Hospital for Post -Mortem. The deceased has not yet been identified. After the accident, gasks and trucks were found in a damaged condition on the road, making it take some time to organize traffic. The locals said accidents often occur as a result of high -speed vehicles on the National Highway No. 12. There is a risk of accidents due to the high movement of trucks and heavy vehicles on this route. The residents demanded the administration to strictly follow the traffic rules on this route and to increase traffic safety measures.
