Here, the first modern district of the State Divyang and Rehabilitation Center (DDRC) is being built, where the disabled will get all the necessary services under one roof. On Tuesday, district magistrate Savin Bansal himself conducted an earthly inspection of this center and provided many important instructions to the officials. He said that every facility for disabled people in the center should be easy and accessible. What is modern disabled and rehabilitation center? This center is a type one stop facility for Divyang for the disabled. Meaning, now all the necessary facilities of certificates to physiotherapy, psychological advice, artificial limbs and hearing aid will be available here. Earlier, people had to go different offices and hospitals, but now all the facilities will be available in one place. During the inspection, DM Savin Bansal said that a separate place should be made for physiotherapy in the center so that patients can get comfortable treatment. He also instructed to make separate entrance and parking for the center. In addition, PRD staff were asked to deploy for the comfort of patients and their families. What facilities will be available? The disabled people who come to this center will first be registered and then their medical, educational and social evaluation. After this, services will be made available according to the need. Divyang certificate will be easily made in this center. At the same time, two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) Aadhaar Aadhaar & Certification Service is facilitated and updated. Services such as physiotherapy, speech therapy and oocative therapy will also be available. In addition, prostheses, wheelchairs, tricycles and hearing aids will also be made available here. The needy will also receive psychological and social counseling. Divyang gets special facilities. This center is not limited to treatment and equipment. Skills development training will also be given to the disabled here so that they can become self -sufficient by joining work. Apart from this, they will also be linked to government schemes such as pension, scholarship and UDID card. The biggest feature of the center is that a multi -disciplinary team will work here. That is, experts such as physiotherapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and counselor will be part of the same team.
