'Dream of Violence Free and Peaceful World', Gurudev Sri Ravi Shankar spoke in the Colombia Parliament

Spiritual Guru Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, while addressing the national parliament in Bogota, the capital of Columbia, called on the world’s leaders to propose violence -free, loving and blissful world. He said this idea may look like a ‘utopia’, but every big change begins with a dream. When we start to dream, we can realize that too. This visit by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is associated with the city where he called on peace ten years ago, which later became the basis of the historic peace agreement between the Farc and the then Colombian government. The agreement was the end of the long battle for five decades in which millions of lives were lost. This time on his tour, he emphasizes the need for overall development, ‘self -consciousness, the development of flexibility of spirituality and higher social partnerships. He urged political and social leaders. He said that if we are considering the long -term interests of the country by keeping our personal, professional and political priorities just one week a year aside, we can see in our differences and keep the direction of real progress. Gurudev said in a prestigious conference called ‘Leadership for the Transformation of the World’ that humanity today feels more lonely than ever. It shows that there is a big mistake of us somewhere.
