Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has made a special appeal to the people of the state to protect and care for public property. He said that if someone was seen damaging public property, then tried to stop it. If he disagrees, then make a video of it and make it viral on social media. CM Yogi also made it clear that the government would take strict steps against such people, that their posters would be set up and that the loss would be compensated. He said: “This property is not of one person, but the whole society, so its safety is the responsibility of all of us.” The emphasis on respect and social responsibility, CM Yogi, was not only limited to the conservation of property and also described the importance of respect for the beds, parents, colleagues and gurus. It is the basis of the strength of our society.” The Chief Minister also emphasized that each person has a cellphone in the digital era of today, so that he can record any unfair or wrong work in today’s digital era and share it on appropriate forums.
