Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood expressed dissatisfaction with the poor condition of pools in two schools in Shakurbasti region. He ordered an investigation if he did not get a satisfactory answer from the officials. Minister Sood said this fate of schools took place because of corruption from the previous government. The 26 pools built by the Delhi government have long been closed and deprived the practice of swimming students. In his three -day report, Dainik Jagran highlighted important issues such as the situation of these pools, lack of license, negligence in operation and waste of rupees. Education Minister Ashish Sood has the pool of two schools on which Delhi Minister Ashish Sood made an inspection on Thursday of two schools in Shakurbasti meeting, Sarvodaya Cum-Education School, C-Blok, Saraswati Vihar and the government’s High-Shiksha-Vidalaya, Rani Bagh-Swimming. There was no water in the pool. His condition was quite dilapidated. Ashish Sood also ends up in the pool. He asked strict questions to the officials, but the officials could not give a satisfactory answer. Ashish Sood instructed the Director of Education to investigate both of these pools. In addition, vigilance and departmental investigation were also ordered against the engineers of PWD. Schools have been neglected for corruption from the previous government: Sood said that government schools were victims of neglect due to negligence and corruption of previous governments. The swimming pools of both of these schools are in a scabby state. These pools were built in 2018 at 2.5-2.5 crores. But even after seven years, these pools are not used. There is no real water system in these pools, nor is good quality material installed in their construction. The floor under the pool of Rani Bagh is uprooted, and the surrounding tiles also come out on their own.
