Six dead, six injured in thunderstorm incidents in Jharkhand

Ranchi, September 26 (IANS). Six people have died in four separate incidents of thunderstorms over the past 24 hours. Six other people were injured. Two farmers working in the field lost their lives on Friday afternoon due to the thunderstorm in the Namshol village Bodam Block under the East Singhbhum district. It was told that Chakradhar Kumbhakar and Prabhas Singh worked in the cabbage field. Suddenly the weather worsened and heavy rain began, which after a few moments of thunderstorm. Both were seriously injured. Family members rushed to Chirudih nursing institution, where doctors declared him dead. Two children, Shanichar Kisku and Chetlal Kisku, died Friday night in Chhotki Kudi under Nawadih in the Bokaro district in an incident of thunderstorm, while a woman named Surji Devi was seriously injured. Earlier, a six -year -old girl Manita Kumari died on Thursday night at thunderstorm in Hutar of the Ramgarh police station in the Palamu district. It was told that the children were playing near the house. When the sudden rain began, the children went to find their refuge under a taking tree. Meanwhile, lightning fell on the tree, which came into the grip of Manita and another girl. Both were taken to Barwadih Community Health Center, where Manita was pronounced dead, while the injured girl underwent treatment. Eight -year -old Pooja Kumari came to the Dhanbad District under the grip of thunderstorm on Thursday night in the Koldih -dorp Machiara Panchayat of the Dhanbad district. Ten -year -old Poonam Kumari was injured in the incident. Both girls played outside the house when the thunderstorms fell in the midst of heavy rain and thunderstorms. The injured Poonam was rushed to Snmmch Dhanbad by 108 ambulances, where he was treated under the supervision of doctors. In the Laathar district, three children were injured on Friday in an incident of thunderstorm, which was hospitalized for treatment. The meteorological department in Ranchi predicted the rain in many parts of the state for the next two days.
