Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers trapped in wrong number chaos while Rajat Patidar calls police on Chattisgarh boys

Royal challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar had an unusual incident with two cricket fans from Chhattisgarh when he tried to regain his cellphone number. The previous mobile number of the Indian batter has been inactive for more than 90 days, which led to his telecommunications operator disabling it and subsequently raising it, according to an NDTV report. Rajat Patidar calls police officers at Chattisgarh Boys: The number was reportedly assigned to a son of Chhattisgarh named Manish, a resident of the state’s Garowland district. Manish activated the Reliance Jio SIM card at the end of June, and shortly after activation, he and his friend Khemraj noted that the photo of the RCB captain appeared as the WhatsApp display photo -the first sign that the number had previously belonged to a famous personality. Shortly thereafter, the boys began receiving phone calls from prominent personalities such as Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, who tried to reach Patidar. Patidar himself also contacted the number, explained the situation to Manish and Khemraj, and emphasized how important the number was to him, as coaches, teammates and personal contacts used it to reach him. However, the boys did not believe that it was actually Patidar on the other line and replied humorously, “And we are MS Dhoni.” The RCB captain then warned them, “Okay, I will send the police.” Only ten minutes later, local police arrived at Manish’s home to mediate the situation. After realizing that it was indeed Patidar on the other side, Manish worked with the authorities and returned the SIM card. Khemraj talked about the incident to NDTV and said, ‘I have to talk to Kohli because of a wrong number. My life purpose is complete. ‘ Patidar announced earlier this year after RCB proposed him as captain before the season. The MP-based cricketer not only led his team to the playoffs, but also secured their first IPL trophy under his leadership.
