PM Modi assesses important projects in the mining, railway and water resources areas

New -Delhi, June 25 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi was chairman of the 48th meeting of the ‘Pragati’ forum on Wednesday. It is a platform for information technology, multiple platform, which aims to ensure active management and time -based implementation by coordinating between central and state governments. During the meeting, the Prime Minister checked some important infrastructure projects in mining, railway and water source areas. Since these projects are extremely important for economic development and public well-being, the prime minister has placed special emphasis on their time limit, inter-institutional coordination and solution of barriers. The prime minister said that the delay in the projects causes double loss, on the one hand the cost increases, on the other hand, citizens do not receive essential services and facilities in time. He called on the central and state level officials to use a result -oriented approach so that development opportunities could be converted into real life changes. The Prime Minister also assessed the PM-AYUSHman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission and requested the states to complete the development of health framework in aspiring districts, remote, tribal and border areas in particular. He said we should be top priority to provide quality health services to poor, disadvantaged and backward classes. He said this mission is a ‘golden opportunity’ for the states, so that they can strengthen primary, tertiary and special health infrastructure on blocks, district and state levels. In the meeting, the prime minister also revised the efforts used by various ministries, departments and states/trade union areas to promote confidence (self -sufficient India) in the defense sector. He appreciated the strategic importance of these initiatives and the ability to encourage innovation. Referring to the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, the prime minister said that this mission was fully executed by indigenous abilities, which is strong evidence of increasing self -sufficiency in India’s defense sector.
