He linked students from different districts of Bareilly Division and inquired about their accommodation and meals. Yogi distributed chocolate and school bags to the children, while students caught the moment with selfies. The public addressed the CM and expressed pleasure over the inauguration of the Atal Residential School in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s centenary year. He emphasized that by December 25, 2025, when Atal Ji’s 100th birthday will be commemorated, this will be a lasting tribute to his legacy. During the visit, the CM also planted a Rudraksha tree on the Vidya Sahay campus, which symbolizes the growth and wealth of education in the region. “Education is essential for the empowerment of a nation, civilizing society and values ​​in children,” Yogi said. He praised the school as a model of education, which describes it as an integrated campus, and offered students and teachers accommodation, nutritious food, a library, sports facilities, a stadium, indoor games and skills development programs. “This school ensures that students receive a well -rounded education and that staff undergo regular training to improve teaching methods,” the CM added. The CM recalled that PM Modi inaugurated 16 Atal residential schools in September 2023, and that Bareilly’s school is the 17th in the series. “Previously, Bareilly children in Lucknow and children of Moradabad studied in Bulandshahr. But from April 15, these children will be moved to the big campus for the new academic session,” he added. The CM also paid tribute to the vision of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in which he said: “Atal Ji realizes the concept of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Anyodaya. With this school, we honor his legacy during his centenary year.” He expressed the confidence that the school would play a key role in nation -building and Bareilly would benefit greatly from this development.
