The artist, Ilham Shaheen, revealed the fact that she and the media, Hala Sarhan in Iraq, said, where she said that they are fine and there is no truth to detain them, asking: Who will be detained and we will seek help from whom no one in his hand is a need to do.

Ilham Shaheen said, in statements to “The Seventh Day”, that all that they were in Iraq to participate in a major event that ended yesterday and when we arrived at the airport today, Friday, to return to Egypt, the closure of the airspace due to the war between Iran and Israel, and all the participants in the event from different countries returned from the airport waiting for the opening of the airspace.

The artist Ilham Shaheen thanked the Egyptian ambassador to Iraq for his efforts and his constant communication with her to check on her and the media, Hala Sarhan, after they could not return to Egypt from Iraq because of the war between Israel and Iran, stressing that the ambassador is following her moment by moment to help return to Egypt with the first opportunity to open the airspace.

Ilham Shaheen added that all the participants in the conference from all countries are fine, and all of them returned to the residence hotel, waiting for the airspace to open again.

The artist, Ilham Shaheen, said that the situation is safe in Iraq and the hotel in which a believer resides well, and things are going well, but all that is the matter is that she and Sarhan are waiting for a truce to return to her and all the stuck in Iraq because of the war between Israel and Iran.

Ilham Shaheen and the media, Hala Sarhan from Iraq, were not possible to return to the war between Israel and Iran, as Ilham Shaheen participated in the International Festival of Media Women in its fourteenth session.

She also participated in a symposium on media problems in transferring what is happening in conflict areas, wars and media martyrs, such as: Athajat and Sherine Abu Aqla.
