Twenty prints with limited edition of late caricaturist Al Hirschfeld is now open to bids to benefit Broadway Cares and the Al Hirschfeld Foundation.

The prints, published in small numbers, are also drawn by the Broadway and Hollywood armories that appear in the classic works: Alan Alda, Julie Andrews, Kevin BaconCher, Michael Crawford, Ellen Greene, Joel Gray, Mark Hamill, Jessica Lange, Jose Llana, Donna McKychnna, Ian McKellen, Liza Minnelli, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Mandy likes, Bernadette Peters, Chita rivera, Linda Ronstadt, Which snake, Patrick Stewart, Christopher Walkenand John Williams.

Under the prints at the Hirschfeld auction, Rivera, who passed away in January, is with Dick van dyke in Bee bee Birdiesigned by Rivera; Oscar winner Andrews, forever by Hirschfeld commemorated as Eliza Doolittle in My fair ladyopposite Rex Harrisonsigned by Andrews; Tony winner McKellen, who appeared in the Broadway production of 2001 as Edgar Dance of deathsigned by McKellen; and the Oscar winner Long, a 2024 Tony nominee for Mother playillustrated in Tennessee WilliamsA Street wagon named Desiresigned by long.

“No artist or artistic style means the Broadway community more than all Hirschfeld,” said Tom Viola, executive director of Broadway Care, in a statement. “Our constant collaboration with the Al Hirschfeld Foundation and the generosity of Hirschfeld collectors and Broadway enthusiasts old and new, people across the country will provide critical illnesses and crisis with meals and medication, health care and hope for months and years to come.”
