As stray cattle remain a problem for the locals, the district administration has decided to take legal action against those who leave the cattle on the street. An official said that regular presence of stray cattle in roads and public areas creates threats such as traffic developments, road accidents, property damage and health and hygiene threats. The purpose of this campaign is to systematically remove, mark cattle and ensure their rehabilitation. A special campaign will be conducted from August 1 to 31 for rehabilitation of stray animals. SDM of Thanesar, Shashwat Sangwan, held a joint meeting on Wednesday with City Council Thanesar City Council, cattle, cattle, livestock department and police officials to remove stray animals from the roads.
