Four days after the Ahmedabad plane crash on June 12, 112 Air India pilots went on leave and took “sick leave” and called themselves sick. State Minister in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol gave this information in parliament. He confirmed that after the AI-171 accident in Air India there was an increase in the case of sick leaves of all the naval pilots. After the incident, the Directorate -General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) advised the airlines in a medical circular to judge the mental health of flight crew and air traffic controllers. Also start training programs to remove adverse effects on health. In addition, the minister told that operators, FTOS and AAI were also advised to make a support program for their employees regarding monitoring of mental health. It is necessary for the airlines to work in this direction so that flight staff/ATCOs can help recognize, face and overcome any problem. All 241 people except only one passenger in the plane going from Ahmedabad to London died in this accident. In addition, many people died in the medical residence where the plane fell on the building and a total of 260 people lost their lives in the accident. The painful accident in Ahmedabad occurred in the flight of Air India AI-171 after a few minutes after take off. The plane falling to the ground caught fire and the bodies that repaired in the debris were severely burned. They were identified by DNA samples from the victims. Apart from Indians, Britain and Canadian citizens are also included in the accident. The initial investigation by the Hindu came to light that the turn -off mode, which has the engine from the plane within a second, went into the cut -off mode, which stopped the fuel supply to the engine and the accident occurred.
