Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives denies news about the elimination of SKCK: Hoax!
Jakarta – An information containing a policy on the elimination of police record certificate (SKCK) by the government is widely distributed. Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission III, Habiburokhman, emphasized that the news is not true. “The news that Commission III and Kemenkumham have officially decided that the elimination of SKCK is wrong or Hoax,” Habiburokhman told reporters on Sunday (4/13/2025). Habiburokhman also included news links containing information on the elimination of SKCK by the government. The news contains information about the House of Representatives Commission III and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights agreed to remove the SKCK. The profit of the name of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in information on the elimination of the SKCK was also wrong, as the ministry was no longer in the Prabowo government. “Commission III and Kemenkum do not have the authority to make the decision and have never made the decision,” he said. “Besides, there are currently no Ministry of Rights and Human Rights listed as in the Hoax News title. In the red and white cabinet there is a lawyer (Kemenkum) because the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has been developed to three ministries,” Habiburokhman continued. Habiburokhman further said there is no policy to remove SKCK so far. He said that people who objected to the provisions of the SKCK as a condition to apply for work or self -interruption could be delivered directly to the relevant agencies. “The pursuit of the community over SKCK can be transferred to the government or private agencies that need SKCK for different purposes, such as applying for work, to register or nominate schools themselves,” HabiBurokhman concluded.
