Raipur shocker! Pregnant teenage slits boyfriend's throat for refusal to get married, and insist on abortion
A brutal murder of a harassed romance shook Chhattisgarh, with Raipur police uncovering a story of love, betrayal and violence after the discovery of a young man’s body on Sunday. The murder came to light after police found 20-year-old Mohammed Saddam’s body of a lodge in Raipur, where he was found with his throat and stabbed several times, allegedly by his 16-year-old pregnant girlfriend. Saddam, identified as a Bihar native who worked as an MS engineering officer in Abhanpur, met his 16-year-old girlfriend on Saturday in the Avon Lodge in Raipur after the latter traveled to the city of Bilaspur. Although the couple went into the lodge on Saturday, things made a deadly turn on Sunday night when the girl cut Saddam’s throat with a knife and stabbed him a few times when he slept in the lodge room. In an attempt to cover her tracks, the 16-year-old also locked the room, stole Saddam’s phone and fled and threw the room key on railroad tracks. After fleeing, the girl reached Bilaspur on Monday, where she was confronted by her mother, where the 16-year-old man broke and acknowledged. The woman immediately shocked her about the recognition of her daughter, and immediately took her to the Koni police station and reported the crime, after which police rushed to Avon Lodge in Raipur and found Saddam’s leaky body. Preliminary investigations revealed that the couple’s relationship became acidic after Saddam put the 16-year-old under pressure to undergo an abortion. The publication also reported that Saddam threatened the minor with a knife during a fierce argument outside the lodge a few days before, and that the same knife was used by the girl as the murder weapon. Reportedly, the girl was three months pregnant and when she revealed the same to her boyfriend, Saddam refused to marry her and insists that she get an abortion. These impasse caused repeated battles between the two lovers, which eventually ended up to murder. With the investigation currently underway, police confirmed to NDTV that they were trying to contact Saddam’s family in Bihar. “The deceased’s phone is in our supervision, and we are tracking down his family members through the number.” A case is registered, and the minor girl, who is contrary to the law, is being questioned, “a senior police officer said. “It seems to be a crime of passion and desperation. The investigation will determine whether it is pre -day or a consideration of the moment,” added another officer.
