When swindler meets a hacker: Ghaziabad Conman has chopped to hacker caps -webcam, exposes Aadhaar details
A resident of Uttar Pradesh was scrutinizing after a ‘professional hacker’ claimed that Ghaziabad resident Manish Kumar was looking for thousands of people. The allegations came to light when a user on social media – specializing in hunting spirits – posted a series of wires on X about his alleged intrusion into Kumar’s laptop. What scam did Kumar get going? The user has shared that Kumar operates a ‘classic technical support fraud’, attracting victims through ‘false Google ads’. “When I cut into his laptop and turned on the direct webcam feed, he immediately panicked and blocked the camera view with his hand!” wrote x user nanobiper. Kumar’s modus operandi pretended to pretend to be anti-virus guard (AVG) support and to use false Google ads to attract victims. He will then request access to distance access and find out false problems to ask for useless “support”. How did Nanobiter turn the tables? “I played with his screenplay until he tried on my computer. He thought he was in control, but I was about to turn the scam on him … to utilize one of the biggest weaknesses in cybersecurity: the human vulnerability,” Nanobaiiter explained. After obtaining the IP address of the laptop, the OP -files access files, monitored the screen in real time and even opened the direct webcam feed. “When I opened the direct webcam feed, he knew immediately that he had become confused and put his hand over the camera, but it was too late.” Nanobaiter then claimed to have exceeded the swindler by exposing his name and apartment complex in Ghaziabad, while also downloading his Aadhar card, pan -card and passport. “I matched the photos of his computer with my face I saw on the webcam feed. No doubt it was Manish Kumar while driving technical support fraud from his bedroom,” said Nanobaiter, who also marked the Ghaziabad and Uttar Pradesh police to take action against Kumar. How did social media respond? Nanoberiter has received applause from users on social media for the exposure of scams targeting innocent people. Here are some of the reactions: “This apartment is actually in front of my house. Never knew a swindler lived there. @Uppolice @Ghaziabadpolice, time to hunt him,” one user said. Another added: “You are doing an incredible job of exposing these criminals, and you don’t seem to ever come from their necks LOL keep on the wonderful work.” A third said, “You are doing work to be done. The government is not going to do it for us. And your skills are the ones you need to do to do this work. We are so appreciated!” A fourth said, “You don’t know how much I enjoy these victory wires. Continue, Supersleuth.”
