Dad Hears Noise Coming From Kitchen in Morning, Can’t Believe What He Sees – ryan

A dad from Arizona who heard a noise coming from his kitchen was surprised to discover the culprit.

A confused Rhett Scheurn (@rhettscheurn) got up in the morning to investigate, only to find his 4-year-old son making cereal for his baby sister.

Secretly filming from another room, the 32-year-old posted a clip of the heartwarming moment on Instagram, melting hearts all over the internet.

“I’ve never seen him do this,” he wrote on the text overlay.

In the clip, the confident toddler uses a kitchen highchair to reach the countertop to make the breakfast masterpiece. He then carefully carries the bowl to his 3-year-old sister’s room—even feeding her through the bars of her crib.

“Instantly, (I felt) grateful and my heart melted,” Scheurn told Newsweek.

Finally, he reaches in and gives her a kiss. “He’s the best big brother ever,” Scheurn wrote on the text overlay.

The brother-sister dynamic can have some unique traits. Research has found that boys with sisters may show greater emotional openness and nurturing behavior, particularly when encouraged by parents to be gentle and responsible.

A 2004 study suggested that boys with sisters are also more likely to develop strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.

“(Being)18 months apart, they have always done everything together,” Scheurn said.

The clip has gone completely viral on Instagram, amassing 42 million views and 4.6 million likes.

Over 20,000 users commented on the precious bond between the pair.

“This is everything. My heart,” one user wrote.

“What a great big brother! He is so adorable,” another added.

A third commenter wrote, “The kiss at the end of such a special sweet moment just melted my heart!!”

In another reel on his page, Scheurn tested his baby girl to see who she would choose out of her dad or her big brother.

Predictably, she walks over to her older brother with open arms. “Their relationship is so fun and cute,” Scheurn wrote on the text overlay. “I love watching it develop more and more.”

Other viewers were quick to praise the father’s parenting skills. “Children learn by what they see. You are doing a great job mom and dad!” one user said.

“Coming here to great the parents for this incredible beautiful parenting job,” wrote a second.

“The comments won’t stop coming on how cute they are,” the proud dad said.
