Corona -virus infection can cause chronic high blood pressure
In a recent US analytical study, it was said that there was a connection between the infection of the new Corona virus, and the development of chronic high blood pressure between people who had no previous pathological history related to blood pressure. The study, published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, said that the new Corona virus infection is closely related to high blood pressure based on an analysis of E -medical records for more than 45,000 people. The researchers previously said that the symptoms of infection are often more serious in patients with high blood pressure, compared to high hospitalization and death rates with people with normal blood pressure rates. High blood pressure is a medical condition in which the strength of the blood on the arterial walls is very high, and it is a source of health anxiety as it can hinder the heart, harm the blood vessels and increase the risk of serious health conditions, such as heart disease, strokes, kidney damage and vision problems. Note retrospectively, and the study relied on a retroactive effect, the first of its kind, to investigate the development and risk factors associated with ongoing high blood pressure in people with new corona infection compared to flu. The analytical study found that 21% of people transferred to the hospital due to the infection of the Corona virus, and 11% of those who did not enter the hospital were injured, compared to 16% of people who were hospitalized, and 4% of those who did not enter the hospital due to flu. People with Corona, especially the older than 40 or adults of Africa, or who have previously similar cases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart artery or chronic kidney disease, are at high risk of high blood pressure. Constant high blood pressure was more frequent in people with Corona, and they were treated with vessels and cortisone medication during the epidemic. The researchers noted that the people included in the study were mainly the low social and economic situation, which mainly contributes to increasing the ability to develop high blood pressure. Other factors related to the epidemic, such as social isolation, psychological pressure, reduced physical activity, unhealthy diet and weight gain during the pandemic, can also contribute to the development of high blood pressure in those covered by study. The researchers believe that there is an urgent need for longer follow -up studies to determine whether the effects of complications associated with the Corona virus on the heart, and that the regulation of blood pressure can be healed on their own, or that there are long -term effects on the heart and blood vessels in patients.
