Minister Santosh Lad informed that a team of 5 -member firefighters was formed in light of the possibility of flood and boat was also provided to them. He said: “There are 56 small drains associated with Beni Lake. They are carefully monitored. Tupri Village is one of the most affected areas. An additional grant of Rs 160 crore has been sought. The state government as well as the central government called on assistance.” Local MLA NH Konradi said: “If the cleaning of drains will be complete, it’s not sure.
