Tamil Nadu: Minister Periyakarupan claims that DMK Alliance will win elections in 2026
Sivaganga (Tamil Nadu), September 14 (IANS). Tamil Nadu -Cooperative Minister Periyakarupan in Tirupattur in the Shivganga district claims that the DMK Alliance’s victory in the 2026 election is certain. Periyakarupan, while talking to reporters, said: “Regardless of the number of alliances in Tamil Nadu, the DMK -Led Alliance 2026 election will win.” In addition, he informed Chief Minister Mk Stalin about the special announcement for the Pongal festival. The minister said that 5 lakh members of 2.19 lakh families in the Shivganga district joined the DMC by Tamil Nadu Iqikam, who is proof of the growing popularity of the party. He emphasizes awareness of theft of votes and said: “Incidents like Bihar will not occur in Tamil Nadu. The public is now aware of it.” In response to the allegations of AIADMK leader Edapadi Palaniswami, Periyakarupan said that the DMK government did not disturb anyone and that law and order in Tamil Nadu were completely under control. He rejected actor Vijay’s DMK government’s criticism and said, “The new party is, of course, to accuse the ruling party.” The minister has accused the BJP government in the center of inciting local sentiments by indicating roads in Hindi to National Highways in Tamil Nadu. He said: “The central government is causing more problems for Tamil Nadu than other states, but chief minister Stalin implements effectively to implement public interest schemes.” Referring to the preparations of the cooperative department, Periyakarupan said the chief minister would soon announce new schemes, which the department is ready to implement. He targeted Edappadi Palaniswami and said: “If they win in 2026, it will be seen. The public is now with the DMK.” The minister talked about the achievements of the DMK and said that the chief minister’s schemes won the public’s hearts.
