South Tangerang – A husband and wife (couple) and four colleagues became victims of abuse after being kidnapped and held captive at a friend’s house in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang. They were rescued by the Metro Jaya Police Resmob Sub Directorate team after their wife managed to escape. One of the victims, Indra, described the moment he was held captive by the perpetrators. This incident was experienced on Saturday (11/10) by Indra and his wife, Dessi, and his colleagues at the home of one of the perpetrators in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang. Indra said the suspects tortured them indiscriminately. DJ escaped from the rented house where he was detained in South Tangerang (Tangsel), Banten. Dessi said that he ran away from his rented house in the Pondok Aren area at dawn on Monday (13/10). He took advantage of the moment when the guards were asleep. “I, at dawn, Monday, at 04.50 WIB, found that the guards I slept with were 4 people. 1 girl, 3 men, were already sleeping. I crawled out the door of the house,” says Dessi in a video received by detikcom, Friday (17/10/2025). He quietly moved out of the rented location where he was being held. Dessi said the door happened to be unlocked at the time so he could slowly get out. The situation got even tougher when Dessi found the rented gate locked. Then he moved to the side house and climbed over the iron fence. “There I ran as fast as I could. Then I found fathers, old grandfathers who helped me get to the main road,” he said. Dessi then received information from the grandfather that he was in the Taman Mangu area, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang. Dessi then met the taxi driver again who helped him take him to his mother-in-law’s house. “From there I met the taxi father, who was also the taxi father, who was kind, until I was taken to Cibubur, to my mother-in-law’s house. Police Arrest 9 Suspects The Metro Jaya Regional Police Criminal Investigation Team has arrested 9 suspects in cases of kidnapping and extortion accompanied by violence using the COD method of buying and selling cars or face-to-face purchases. The main suspects in this case are Nunung alias NN (52) and Adrian alias MAM (41). “Nunung and Adrian, who are the main perpetrators, were arrested in an apartment in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta,” said a statement from the Resmob sub-directorate, Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, on Friday (17/10/2025). The two of them were arrested on Tuesday evening (14/10) from the car while they were trying to escape from the apartment. From this arrest, the police found 5 men held captive by the perpetrators in a rented house in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang. Including DJ, there are a total of 6 victims in this case. The other five victims were DJ’s husband and his colleagues. The police then arrested 3 perpetrators who were tasked with monitoring the victims at the Pondok Aren tenement house.
