Thanks to SRMP, Ramah is relieved that his child can go to school for free and receive assistance

Jakarta – For Ramah, living as a single parent is not an easy matter. Since there is no husband, she bears the burden of caring for and raising her son, Ridwan, by herself. At this school, children from poor families can study and live in a residence for free. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT Ridwan now lives in a more decent environment. He gets nutritious food, a comfortable bedroom, library facilities, laboratories and character and skill education. All this is a provision to build a bright future that once seemed far away. Rama’s tears fell. Not because of sadness, but rather gratitude that is difficult to express in words. For him, Ridwan now has a bright path to the future. In accordance with the directive of the Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf, that People’s Schools are a miniature poverty alleviation. “The child goes to school, the parents are empowered,” he said on Friday (17/9/2025). In Bogor, SRMP 10 with a capacity of 100 students, supported by 11 teachers, 16 teaching staff and several excellent facilities, has become a golden bridge for Ridwan and other students to plan a better future.
