Prospective Hajjy officers of the Ministry of Religion 2025 begin BIMTEK

Jakarta – The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) began holding a technical guidance (Bimtek) for prospective pilgrims (PPIH) 2025. PPIH candidates will have the task of serving pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. The activity was held on Monday (4/14/2025) to Sunday (4/20/2025) in the Jakarta Hajjy Bedroom, Pondok, East Jakarta. Indonesia initially received a quota of 2025 Hajj officers as many as 2,210 people or 1% of the total pilgrims of RI 221,000 people. The youngest, the Ministry of Religion, said Saudi Arabia returned the quota of Indonesian pilgrims to 2% of the congregation. That is, there are 2.210 more people who will catch up to become PPIH candidates. Roll to continue the selection process of the PPIH candidate, especially the central level, has been held since December 2024. Central pilgrimage candidates who passed the exam was announced on Saturday (12/4). The prospective officers who passed the exam had to follow Bimtek a week. Director of Bina Hajj Ministry of Religion Musta’in Ahmad said Bimtek was held to prepare prospective officers while later serving the pilgrims in Saudi. “Must realize that everything will be asked for responsibility,” Musta’in said when he delivered the first material in Bimtek on Monday (4/14) night. Musta’in said the conditions in the field are very dynamic. Prospective pilgrims are expected to always be ready with the assignment, for example of accommodation officials will be asked to assist transportation officers. “It is also mandatory to understand, although different tasks,” he said.
