BNP Paribas Expects to Complete Purchase of Axa Investment Managers in July – ryan

BNP Paribas said it expects to complete its $ 5 Billion-Plus Acquisition of Axa Investment Managers in Early July.

The French Lender said Monday that it has signed a share purchase agreement for the investment management company.

In December, BNP Paribas said it had signed a deal to buy axa im for 5.1 billion euros ($ 5.79 billion).

BNP Paribas Estimates A 35 Base-Point hit to its common equity tiger 1 ratio and expects its return on invested capital to be above 14% three years after complete and more than 20% in the fourth year.

BNP Paribas said it would continue with a previously announced Share Buyback Program and Uphold its Existing Shareholder Distribution Policy After the Deal Completes.

The final conditions will be disclosed when the deal is completed, bnp paribas said.
