Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanchchalak Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday attended the release ceremony of the book ‘The Hindu Manifesto’ written by the senior member of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the founder of the Vishwa Hindu Congress in the Premier’s museum on Saturday. On this occasion, Bhag that described the ideas expressed in the book as relevant and important in today’s perspective. He said this book is a guideline document for the Hindu society, which provides a solution to modern challenges on the basis of scriptures and traditions. In his speech, the author of the book, Swami Vigyanananda, explained the purpose and structure of ‘the Hindu manifesto’ in detail. He said that the word ‘manifesto’ clarifies the basics of a group or ideology. This book, Inspired by Hindu philosophy and scriptures, systematically offers the ideas of the Hindu society. Swami Vigyanananda further said that many people use Hindu knowledge to manage their private stores, but the purpose of this book is to restore and recognize Hindu ideology. The ‘The Hindu Manifesto’ is divided into eight chapters, in which each chapter focuses on various aspects such as society, economics, defense and culture. The first chapter emphasizes wealth. Swami Vigyanananda said wealth is needed for the progress of any society or nation. For this, the role of policy making, government, society, farmers and entrepreneurs has been clarified. He said: “No society can move forward without prosperity. For this, we must understand how to ensure the contribution of the machinery, policy and different parts of society.” Swami Vigyanananda, while called the Mahabharata, said that the public’s safety was not possible until the enemy was defeated. He emphasized the quality of military resources, leadership and commanders, saying that a strong defense system ensures the sovereignty of the country.
