The bride demonstrated the father of the father against the ‘forced acquisition’ of the father’s land, Nhai refused

Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district, a bride in Baghpat, protested against the alleged forced acquisition of her father’s land by officials who worked on the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor project on their wedding day. On Sunday, a female dynasty in town participated in a demonstration just before her marriage ceremony, with protest against her family’s claim. The family claims that a team from the National Highways Authority of India, along with police staff, are trying to capture a Bigha land by force without paying compensation. However, officials say the land has already been acquired. Nhai’s local project director Narendra Singh spoke to Pti, saying: “The various land was already acquired, and removed an illegal structure built there on Sunday to put police officers under pressure to increase compensation.” He described the protests as a promotion of publicity and said: “The demonstration by the bride and her family is campaigning, and we are registering civil as well as criminal cases in the case.” Share this story -tags
