The CBI Court sentenced the SSB Assistant -Commandant and Sub -Inspector in the rig
New -Delhi, September 24 (IANS). The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sentenced the SSB assistant commander and sub -inspector to one year strict imprisonment for the target of goods worth Rs 24 lakh. The CBI Court of Patna sentenced the then Deputy Commandant Anand Kumar (deceased), the Assistant Commandant Vijay Kumar Jha and Si Apoor Va government (both the 19th Battalion, SSB, Bathnaha, Farbisganj) for the strict imprisonment (RI) of one year with a RS 50,000 for the manipulation of the RS 50 goods worth Rs 24 lakh. The CBI registered the case based on information received from sources. It is alleged that Anand Kumar, Vijay Kumar Jha and the Si Apoorva government hatched a criminal conspiracy during the year 2009 and abused their official post as a civil servant and cheated a truck -betting on about 24 lakh calls of fraud and dishonesty. After the investigation, the CBI filed a charge sheet against the then Deputy Commandant Anand Kumar (who died during the hearing), assistant commander Vijay Kumar Jha and sub-inspector Apoorva Sarkar on July 13, 2012. The court found the allegations against the accused correctly and guilty and sentenced them. Earlier, on September 23, the CBI Special Court (Ahmedabad) convicted two people in an old false false fire insurance, imprisonment for 5-5 years and a fine of Rs 60 Lakh. Among the two people sentenced, the first accused Rashik J Patel Dalsania (Meera Chemicals, Gidc Panoli, Bharuch) was sentenced to 5 years and a fine of Rs 45 Lakh. Second convicted Sanjay Ramesh Chitre (owner and surveyor of SRC Chitre & Company) was ordered to pay a 5 -year sentence and a fine of Rs 15 Lakh. -Ians ash/ share these story tags
