New -delhi, October 10 (IANS). The central government on Friday asked domestic airlines to strictly follow safety protocols. Have also urged the airlines to adopt best practices in passenger facility and service quality. Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu chaired a monthly review meeting with domestic airlines to assess their operating and technical performance. At the meeting, he paid particular attention to safety and passenger comfort. Most of the airlines, Air India, Air India Express, Indigo, Akasa Air, Alliance Air, Fly91, Flybig and Indiaone Air, participated. Everyone submitted their performance data, including action that took reports on safety incidents and complaints from passengers. There were extensive discussions on safety inspections, fleet management and passenger -centric initiatives. Detailed discussions were fed with each airline to identify the issues in their operations and address their challenges. During the meeting, Naidu also warned the airlines to keep the aircraft reasonable in all sectors during the upcoming festive season. Airlines gave assurances that the ease of passengers would remain their top priority, saying that additional flight capacity on high traffic routes had been deployed to meet the festive demand. The minister also instructed DGCA’s tariff monitoring unit to watch the aircraft closely and ensure that the tariff reached by the airlines is declared. During the interaction, he also reviewed the grievance correction done by the airlines and instructed them to solve passenger complaints in time and of quality. The passenger tools sports language of the Ministry of Passengers, Airseva, has also been upgraded to enable passengers to submit complaints related to high aircraft. Naidu also encouraged airlines to include the vision of the Prime Minister of cleanliness in their activities, practices and service delivery. He appreciated the collective efforts of airlines to make Indian aviation more sustainable by adopting advanced technologies and environmentally responsible practices. -—IANS SCH
