Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP -LP outside on bail in RJ Kundu Chase case, was appointed as legal officer

Vikas Barala, son of the Rajya Sabha -LP Subhash Barala, has been appointed Assistant Advocate -General (AAG) in the Delhi office of the Haryana Advocate -General. Vikas and a friend of his friends were discussed in 2017 because he allegedly chased and kidnapped the daughter of the IAS officer against Kundu, RJ Varnika Kundu. The next trial of the case is scheduled on August 2, 2025. Other major appointments in the AG office – Anu Pal – Younger sister of Justice Lisa Gill of Punjab and Haryana High Court and sister of the Union Territory Minister of Home Affairs Mandeep Singh Brar; Swati Batra – daughter of former judge of the Supreme Court Lalita Batra; Ruchi Sekhari – Nitin Kaushal, a BJP leader from Punjab and former Punjab general secretary Sarvesh Kaushal, contains Nitin Kaushal. In general, a notice of appointments was issued as Assistant Advocate -General, Deputy Advocate -General, Senior Deputy Advocate -General and Additional Advocate -General of more than 95 legal officers. The case is related to the case of allegedly chasing the daughter of a senior bureaucrat (now retired) from Haryana. On August 5, 2017, a case against Vikas and his friend Ashish Kumar was registered on the complaint of Varnika Kundu. The trial of the case is in a Chandigarh court pending. Share this story -tags
