IIM JAMMU and ICMAI SIGNATURE MOU
Jammu, September 17 (IANS). Indian Institute of Management Jammu on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (sleeve) at the Indian Cost Accounts Institute (ICMAI) on the IIM Jammu Jagati Campus boardroom. This collaboration management is an important step towards promoting excellence in education, research, training and professional development. This sleeve is a framework of collaboration between the two most important institutions, so that they can jointly prepare and execute the Management Development Program (MDP), specific training program, executive education and faculty development program. This research paves the way for collaboration, joint seminars, conferences, workshops, curriculum development and educational resources to exchange knowledge. IIM Director, prof. BS Sahay, emphasized that this sleeve with the Indian Cost Accountant Institute reflects the comprehensive approach to the creation of an ecosistor on the basis of IIM Jammu’s educational excellence, research -driven innovation and an ecosistery based on influential executive education. He said that this collaboration will not only strengthen the educational and research relationships between the two institutions, but will also create a platform to develop professionals and leaders with correct knowledge, values and skills to solve the emerging challenges of the rapidly changing economy. He further underlined that the initiative taken under this sleeve would have long -term benefits for students, professionals and overall society. The member of the ICMAI Council, CMA Navneet Kumar Jain, said this memorandum is a strategic step towards the promotion of vocational education and the preparation of the talent prepared for the future in cost and management accounting. He explained in detail that this collaboration by sharing educational resources, research insights and specific training methods will help to bridge the important skills intervals in this profession. He further stated that this partnership will enable professionals to promote in a rapidly developed commercial environment, efficiency and innovation in industry practices and to promote the culture of continuous learning and development in all areas. ICMAI Secretary (Acting) CMA Dr. Debprasanna Nandi said that Icmai sees this sleeve as a milestone to promote his mission of business development and knowledge. He said that the Institute for National Interest, Cooperation with IIM JAMMU, would enable both institutions to share their abilities to design contemporary training and development programs. He emphasized that these initiatives would not only benefit the cost and management staff, but also an extensive class of students, officials and corporate leaders, who will ensure positive consequences in all areas. Faculty of IIM JAMMU and Dean of Research Prof. Jabir Ali highlighted that the partnership would strengthen the Institute’s research ecosystem, enrich the course design and create new innovation opportunities.
