The congress writes a letter to ECI, ‘Commission must give details of names removed from the voters’ list’

New -delhi, October 8 (IANS). The All India Congress Committee wrote a letter to the India Electoral Commission (ECI) on Wednesday. Congress claims that Bihar raises more questions than answers. The congress claimed that the ‘Sir campaign’ of the Electoral Commission raised more questions than answers. The congress demanded that the commission provide a machine -readable voter list and a detailed version of all deleted names. AICC secretary Jairam Ramesh said in the letter that the commission released the final list of 7.42 Crore-registered voters, but did not provide the machine-readable format, despite several appeals of the party. The list was released in 90,000 separate image files, making the analysis impossible. He raised questions, “Why do the India’s Electoral Commission hesitate to make the analysis of voter lists easier? What is it afraid of?” This issue also reached the Supreme Court, where the hearing on the validity of the Sir is underway. Based on the preliminary analysis of the party, very serious questions were raised in the letter. Names of 30 Lakh voters missing: There were 7.72 crore voters in the 2024 lure Sabha election, but now there are only 7.42 crore left. “Who are these 30 Lakh people? How many of them voted in the Lok Sabha election? ‘ Question on 4.6 Lakh New Voters: ECI claims that 21.53 Lakh voters were added, but shape 6 of only 16.93 Lakh is available. “Where are the remaining 4.6 lakh forms?
