The controversy begins to injure religious sentiments on Gippy Grewal’s film ‘Akal: The Anakoncward’

Mumbai, April 11 (IANS). Controversion arose in Patiala about the singer and actor Gippy Grewal’s recently released film ‘Akal: The Anakonquord’. The Patiala police have arrested Baba Bakshish Singh, who opposed the film. Baby Bakhshish Singh says he and his committee have always opposed films in which Sikh characters are improperly displayed. He claims that Sikh characters in the film alcohol, tobacco account or ‘without hair) drink, which is an insult to Sikh history and tradition. He said that if the film is based on Sikh Warriors such as Hari Singh Nalua or Jassa Singh Ahluwalia, then those who play his character should be displayed with full dedication and dignity. Baby Bakhshish Singh made it clear that he would not allow such films to work at any cost, no matter how to sacrifice for this. He claimed that government and administration supported filmmakers whose purpose is to weaken Sikh history. He said that as Hindu gods are displayed on stage today, Sikh Heroes will be treated the same tomorrow. He said that there will be a glass of drink on one side and on the other there will be people in Choladhari playing Sikh characters, it is not acceptable to them. He said his organization wrote 150 letters to the actors and producers of the film not to make such films about Sikh characters.
