New -Delhi, September 25 (IANS). After completing 11 years of ‘Make in India’ initiative, Trade and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said Thursday that the ‘make in India’ program India turns into a global manufacturing power. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Make in India’ program on September 25, 2014 to strengthen the country’s manufacturing sector. The Union Minister wrote on the social media platform X, “Record FDI inflow in these years, comprehensive improvement in the business, our progress as the second largest mobile manufacturer at the world level, increase in export and expansion of defensive production, all show how much we have come.” Goyal further said that the production-linked incentive scheme (PLI) created large-scale investment and employment, while our vibrant starting ecosystem, inspired by the enthusiasm and energy of our youth and women, made India the third largest innovation center in the world. He added: “This journey was possible with the collective effort of our industry, MSME, startups, entrepreneurs and every citizen who keeps the indigenous spirit in his heart.” He said that the 11 -year story of ‘Make in India’ is the story of the revival and that the coming decade will write the story of world leadership through confidence and developed India. According to Goyal, the world also looks at India’s defensive manufacturing potential. The Union Minister said, “Inspired by the position of Premier Modi, the country has achieved historical achievements in indigenous defensive production, showing the success of ‘Make in India’ initiative.” Last week, the Minister of Trade unveiled several transformational initiatives to further promote the ‘make in India’ scheme. The initiative was held on the occasion of a decade -long celebration of this great program, which has so far played an important and productive role in the journey to make India self -sufficient. Goyal has unveiled important initiatives developed by the Department of Industrial and Internal Commerce, aimed at improving operational efficiency and a future ready for the future, worldwide to build a competitive logistics ecosystem. He also introduced the Logistics Data Bank (LDB) 2.0, which will lead India to digital strong, investment taiyar and export-related economy. -Ians abs/
