Odisha, September 20 (IANS). Odisha’s chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. In a tweet on his X handle, he wrote that he sincerely thank the two leaders for the visionary leadership and cooperation in the development of the maritime field of Odisha. CM said that the national ship manufacturing group in Kendrapara and the signing of the memorandum for deep water in Ganjam’s Bahuda is a historic moment. These projects will help Odisha become the center of excellence in the industrial and marine. He said that these initiatives will give port-based development in the state, which will increase jobs and reveal the economic capacity of Odisha. He said that this effort would give real form to the vision of ‘Rich Odisha’. Majhi hoped that these projects would not only increase the economic growth of the state, but also strengthen local industries and business activities. According to him, this step will play an important role in getting Odisha a prominent place on the maritime and industrial maps of India. At the same time, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and his government were fully gathered to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Odisha memorable on September 27. The Chief Minister has instructed all the officials and departments that the Premier’s visit should be completely organized and memorable. According to sources, Prime Minister Modi will take part in the National Level Service Festival held at Rangilunda Maidan in the Ganjam district. On this occasion he will set up and lay the groundstone of various major projects. The most important projects include capacity expansion of eight IITs in the country, Dabbling or Karlaput-Baguda and Manbar-Koraaput-Gorpur railroad lines, inauguration of Sambhalpur-Sarala fly and inauguration of indigenous 4G network service across the country by BSNL.
