Today, Thursday, Dr. Rasha Mustafa, Director of the Health Insurance Branch in a governorate, held an expanded executive meeting in the presence of Dr. Zaki Sultan, Deputy Director of the Branch for Technical Affairs, Islam Yaqout, Deputy Director of the Branch for Financial and Administrative Affairs, with the participation of the managers of technical and administrative departments, and hospital directors and medical areas of the branch.

The meeting targeted the discussion of field developments and reviewing the most prominent operational challenges, as well as formulating executive policies aimed at improving performance and raising the efficiency of health services provided in line with quality standards and institutional accreditation.

During the meeting, the Director of the Health Insurance Branch in Qalioubia stressed the importance of enhancing institutional coordination between the various departments to ensure the provision of integrated and effective health services, while improving the work environment within medical units through operational mechanisms that reduce waiting periods and increase the satisfaction of the beneficiaries.

Mustafa stressed the importance of raising the efficiency of the human element through the implementation of specialized and continuous training programs for medical and nursing cadres, in addition to implementing an integrated system for professional safety and infection control in a manner that guarantees a safe treatment environment for patients and workers.

It was also directed to activate the role of medical social service to facilitate communication between the patient and the health system and facilitate the procedures for receiving the service, stressing the need to automate the pharmacy, stores and medical archives to raise the efficiency of drug resources management and health information and achieve digital integration.

She pointed to the importance of digital linking between administrative and medical units to facilitate the provision of service and improve the mechanisms of drug exchange and medical supplies management using smart and advanced systems.

She also clarified the need to reduce waiting time inside clinics and pharmacies by activating automated call systems and regulating the flow of service, while upgrading the quality of documentation of medical information through a secure and regularly updated electronic archiving.

She stressed the need to raise the indicators of patient satisfaction through the development of the social service system and enhance human communication, and the application of effective professional safety protocols in a manner that achieves a safe and developed healthy environment.

The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of enhancing the efficiency of technical infrastructure through periodic follow -up to maintenance work, and the adoption of a flexible and comprehensive evaluation system aimed at achieving quality standards and continuously improving health services.

This meeting comes within the steps of developing the health insurance system in Qalioubia, in the context of seeking to raise the efficiency of institutional performance and provide an integrated health service that keeps pace with scientific developments and international standards.
