Bethesda officially introduced the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, which brought one of its most celebrated RPGs with a modern turn into the spotlight. The herbastered version of the 2006 Classic, released on Tuesday as a surprise fall, is now available on PC, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. The remasterer has been rebuilt from the ground with the help of Unreal Engine 5, and offers a significant leap in visual fidelity, performance and exciting spelling functions. Bethesda displayed the updated version on the launch day in a living stream, revealing striking improvements in lighting, environmental detail, character modeling and lip-synchronization technology. The Remastered edition contains both the Knights of the nine extensions of the islands, as well as each piece of downloadable content ever released for the original game-which ranges from Thewizard’s tower and the den of the Memedhorse Armor Pack, which returns to his legacy as a self-conscious nod. System requirements and price players who hope to watch – or discover – will need a fairly modern computer to enjoy the game at its full potential. Both versions contain the complete remastered base game and all original extensions. The Deluxe edition offers exclusive in-game content such as new quests linked to Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon, improved horse-worshipers, a digital art book and a herbasted soundtrack. Unlike some premium games packages, the Deluxe edition does not offer early access – Oblivion remastered was launched on April 22 without prior announcement.
