What is PAN 2.0, how different from the old card?

Utility Pan, that is, permanent account number, is issued by income tax department. The Pan card began in 1972. Its purpose was to stop income tax evasion and collect taxpayers data. In the 1990s, the PAN card was made compulsory for all individuals and businesses. Pan -card is a very important document for all Indians. It is not only used as an identity card, but also in financial matters. Now the government has brought PAN 2.0, which will be different from the old map. Pan -card will be digitized by connecting it to Aadhaar card. PAN 2.0 has security functions such as QR code. Which will be safer than the old card. Those whose pan card has already been made are not necessary to make it again. The new applicants will have to connect their pan card to Aadhaar, as the Income Tax Division has made Aadhaar mandatory. It becomes easier to submit income tax with PAN Card.
