The giant sea wall is said to be Prabowo at the UN General Assembly
Jakarta President Prabowo Subianto referred to climate change in his speech during the 80th United Nations General Session (UN). Prabowo said climate change was felt directly in Indonesia. “As the largest archipelago in the world, we testify to you that we have felt the direct impact of climate change,” Prabowo saw Tuesday (9/23/2025) on YouTube uneducated nations. Prabowo then unveiled Indonesia’s plan to build a giant wall or a giant -sea -wall. The construction is estimated to reach 480 km and lasts 20 years. “For this, we are forced to build a giant wall of 480 kilometers. Maybe it will take 20 years, but we have no choice. We have to start now,” he said. Prabowo said he would experience climate change with concrete steps. Prabowo is committed to realizing the international agreement in Paris in 2015 related to the collaboration of climate handling. “We intend to achieve clean zero emissions in 2060 and we are sure that we can reach clean zero -outlining much earlier. We intend to revise to more than 12 million hectares of degraded soil, reduce the decline of the forest and empower local communities with green work for the future,” he said.
