The government of Maharashtra sets a limit for the purchase of car for ministers and officials, and scrap rules mandatory
Mahayuti Sarkar, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra, determined the price and limit of cars to be purchased for his ministers and officials. The Department of Finance has issued new orders in this regard, which aims to ensure control and affirmative steps in the government’s expenses. The government says this change has been made due to rising inflation, rising price of vehicles and BS-6 standards. These factors have made the acquisition of vehicles expensive, so now these boundaries have been implemented with the purchase of new trains. Before buying a new car, it will be mandatory to declare the old vehicle as scrap in the Maha Vahavhana system. This means that no new vehicle can be purchased without the cancellation of the old vehicle. This step will also ensure control of the government’s expenses as well as the management of old vehicles. The Department of Finance has made it clear that this rule is not only limited to government departments, but will also apply to autonomous institutions, government companies, mandals and Mahamandal. Its purpose is to implement the same and transparent rules throughout the government machinery. Experts believe that such an order will save the government’s expenses and better management of resources. Apart from this, the scrap rule will not only reduce the old vehicles on the road, but will also contribute to the protection of the environment. The government also said that transparency and control will be insured in the purchase process of vehicles under the new order. It will be compulsory for each department and institution to take the approval of the Department of Finance before purchasing a vehicle. In addition, this step is also considered an important initiative to increase discipline and responsibility in government machinery. Officials must ensure that the new car is obtained according to financial restrictions and rules. This order of the Maharashtra government will not only affect ministers and higher officials, but will also strengthen vehicle management and financial discipline throughout government machinery and related institutions. In general, the Mahayuti government has determined the limit of obtaining the government’s vehicle in the light of the rising inflation and vehicle prices and made the scrap rule mandatory. This will control, ensure transparency and proper management of resources in government spending. Share this story -tags
