Aadhaar certification transaction exceeded 211 crores in May: officers

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on Thursday this year, Aadhaar number holders carried out more than 211 Crore Aadhaar transactions. The cumulative number of such transactions exceeded 15.223 crore. The verification transactions in May are higher than the previous month. Also 201.76 Crore Such transactions were made in May 2024. The increasing number shows how the base -based certification plays a convenient role in the effective distribution of well -being and the benefit of different services offered by service providers. The statement says it is a catalyst for millions of people to make life easier. The increasing number of certification highlights the widespread use and utility of the Aadhaar and the development of the digital economy in the country. AI/ml -based Aadhaar Face -verification -solutions of Uidai also had a steady increase. In May, 15.49 Crore -facing verification transactions were recorded, setting out this certification method and underlining the benefits of the Aadhaar number holders. According to the statement, more than 100 institutions, including ministries and departments, financial institutions, oil marketing enterprises, telecommunications service providers, facial certification for profit and smooth distribution of services. Similarly, more than 37 e-KYC transactions were done in May in May. The statement said that Aadhaar E-KYC service plays an important role in improving customer experience and facilitating business in areas, including banking and financial services that do not bank. The Unique Identification Authority of India (Uidai) is a government agency responsible for managing the Aadhaar program. Its primary role is to release a unique 12-conductive identity number (Aadhaar) to all the inhabitants of India.
